　UNCHI Corporation, the operator of Osaka’s No.1 ramen restaurant “Jinrui-mina-menrui (Osaka・Minamikata)”, announces that in the fall of 2023, a Falcon 9 space rocket will be launched into space with the “Ingredients for ramen noodles”, “Ramen noodle bowl ceramic sands”, and “Signboard plate”.

The Falcon 9 is a privately developed space rocket developed by SpaceX (Space Exploration Technologies Corp.), an American aerospace company led by Elon Musk.

The ingredients for ramen noodles to be launched into space are the “Ramen Genten” ingredients served at “Jinrui-mina-menrui”, the first ramen restaurant launched by UNCHI Corporation President Matsumura. In addition, we will launch wood cubes that were used in the first guitar by a musician Matsumura respects. The wood exposed to space will be used for sustainable research activities aimed at expanding the use of wood in the future.

To convey the excitement of the 1970 Osaka Expo “Moon Sample Rocks” to the present day

　Following “Moon Sample Rocks” that impressed visitors in the 1970 Osaka Expo, we plan to unveil the metal signboard plates and ceramic ramen bowls that are produced from ceramic sands exposed in space environment to visitors to the Osaka-Kansai International Expo scheduled to be held in 2025.

Hello everybody! Nice to meet you. I dreamed of opening a ramen shop when I was 10 years old and was able to do so at the age of 24. Ten years have passed, and now I am working every day with the dream of being the first to open a ramen store on the planet Mars. People around me often think it’s a bit of a crazy dream, but this project really means that my brand will actually be launched into space. “Jinrui-mina-menrui” to space! Campaign To make the world’s longest queue with customers!

　We will launch the “Jinrui-mina-menrui” to space campaign will be held to commemorate the launch of “Ramen Genten” into space.

On the day of the launch of the Falcon 9 rocket, visitors to Jinrui-mina-menrui (Osaka, Minamikata) with event tickets distributed in advance will be offered “Ramen Genten” at a special price and can also participate in a lottery to win prizes.

In addition, UNCHI Corporation will hold an event on the day of the launch of Falcon 9 to challenge itself to grow further through the space business project and to provide more people with the opportunity to enjoy delicious ramen. Specifically, we declare to attract more than 150 people to queue in front of the store, surpassing the previous record of 113 people (according to our own research).

The launch date of the Falcon 9 rocket with “Jinrui-mina-menrui” will be announced on SNS in late October as soon as it is determined.

Upon confirmation of the posted screen, you will receive a “Special Boarding Ticket for Jinrui-mina-menrui to space”.
