     Weekly whisky offerings, held for 6 weeks.

Museum tour with whisky tasting / 20 years and older, 3,000 yen (including museum admission fee) / Closed: Wednesdays
  Viewing the collection and whisky tasting while listening to the director’s talk 
1st round : 13:00- 
2nd round :15:00-                                

Capacity: 15 people for each session
 Age may be checked at the site.

★Normal museum admission and operating hours during the campaign, regular admission and bar use are also available.
 Hours: 11:00 – 17:00 Closed: Wednesdays
 Adults: 800 yen, elementary and junior high school students: 500 yen, children under 5: free,
group discount for groups of 10 or more: 600 yen (with soft drink)
★Regular bar hours (bar next to the museum): 20:30 – 24:30 Charge 300 yen (with snacks)
                  Closed: Basically open all year round (subject to availability)

●Purpose of the Project, Highlights, and Campaign Details 
◎Main Purpose of the Project
 The Tenryo Hita Whisky Museum has “the largest collection of Western liquors in Japan” and has been selected as one of the “20 Best Museums in Japan*”. The museum is a place for culture, food, and sightseeing, where visitors can actually enjoy Western-style liquors at the attached bar while viewing the museum director’s 30,000-piece collection, which includes historically valuable distilling kilns from the Meiji period, rare bottles from around the world, and goods not for sale.
 Hita City, about an hour from Fukuoka, is an international tourist destination with history, culture, and hot springs, and the Western liquor Museum has played a central role in the city, but the influence of Corona is strong and the bustle has yet to return.
 Therefore, in order to enliven Hita City with culture and tourism and further promote Japan’s Western-style liquor culture to the world, the Tenryo Hita Whisky Museum will hold the “2023 Legendary Whisky Campaign” over a five-week period in November and December.
 Nowadays, Japanese whiskey culture is attracting attention from all over the world. Through this campaign, we would like to promote Japanese whiskey culture and Tenryo Hita, a tourist destination, to the world.

◎Point worthy of note
・Taste the value and culture of “Japanese Whiskey Culture” attracting attention from around the world. Japanese whiskey has a history of more than 100 years since the Meiji era. It is now a traditional Japanese liquor culture.

The world of great whisky is not only to be enjoyed and consumed, but also to be appreciated by learning about the history and culture of whisky.

Taste fine whisky while viewing the 30,000 items in the museum’s impressive collection of Western-style liquors.

Taste fine whisky while listening to a lecture on whiskey (history, culture, and taste) by the museum director.

・The director’s treasured collection, including a very rare 50-year-old whiskey will release.
Campaign will run for 6 weeks. Each week has a different theme, with the director’s choice of excellent whiskey!
   
The theme is Whiskey of the Five Continents: Around the World with Whiskey.
